Romy Biography
Romy, whose real name is Karan Yadav, is an Indian playback singer, songwriter and music composer known primarily for his work in Hindi and Punjabi music.
Born on 11 July 1992 in Patiala, Punjab, Romy developed an interest in singing from an early age. He later established himself in Bollywood with his distinctive and energetic vocal style.
Romy made his Hindi film playback debut with Dum Dum from the 2017 film Phillauri. He subsequently performed songs for several major Hindi films and streaming productions.
Romy Music Career
Romy began gaining wider recognition after his playback work in Phillauri. He later recorded songs for films including Veere Di Wedding, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Kesari, Good Newwz and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
His catalogue includes songs such as Bhangra Ta Sajda, Challa (Main Lad Jaana), Sanu Kehndi, Zumba and Pyaar Tenu Karda Gabru.
Romy is also one of the artists associated with Ishq Hai from Mismatched Season 3, alongside Anurag Saikia, Raj Shekhar, Amarabha Banerjee, Varun Jain and Madhubanti Bagchi.
