Amrit Maan

Amrit Maan is an Indian Punjabi singer, songwriter and actor known for his distinctive voice, songwriting and contemporary Punjabi music. Born on 10 June 1992 in Goniana Mandi, Punjab, India, he has worked across Punjabi pop, bhangra and hip-hop-influenced music.

He is known for songs including Desi Da Drum, Bamb Jatt, Difference, Trending Nakhra, Mithi Mithi and Bambiha Bole.

Amrit Maan began his professional music career as a songwriter. One of his important early songwriting credits was Jatt Fire Karda, performed by Diljit Dosanjh.

He subsequently moved into singing and gained wider recognition with Desi Da Drum in 2015. The track helped establish Amrit Maan as a performing artist in Punjabi music.

He continued releasing Punjabi singles and collaborations, including Shikaar, Bamb Jatt, Trending Nakhra, Difference, Mithi Mithi, The King and Bambiha Bole.

His catalogue later expanded through projects including All Bamb, Xpensive, Elite and newer releases.

Bamb Jatt features Jasmine Sandlas, while Bambiha Bole brought Amrit Maan together with Sidhu Moose Wala. He has also worked with artists and producers including Divine, Ikky, Desi Crew and Deep Jandu.

Amrit Maan Acting Career

Alongside music, Amrit Maan has worked as an actor in Punjabi cinema. He appeared in Channa Mereya and later took leading roles in films including Aate Di Chidi and Do Dooni Panj.

His performance in Channa Mereya also earned him a nomination for Best Debut Actor at the Filmfare Awards Punjabi.

Amrit Maan received Best Duo/Group recognition at the 2016 Punjabi Music Awards for Shikaar. His acting work in Channa Mereya also brought award nominations, including a Filmfare Awards Punjabi nomination for Best Debut Actor.
